Belize visa requirements for Indians: overview
Indian passport holders need a visa for Belize. The requirement is waived for visits of up to 30 days if you hold certain US, Canadian or Schengen documents.
When you do not need a visa
You can enter without a visa if you hold one of the following:
- A valid multiple-entry visa or Permanent Residence Card from the United States.
- A valid multiple-entry visa or Permanent Residence Card from Canada.
- A valid multiple-entry Schengen visa.
These exemptions cover visits of up to 30 days.

Fees are in Belize dollars and have applied since 1 May 2020; India is in a higher fee group than most countries. The Belize dollar is fixed at two to one US dollar, so BZD 750 is US$375 and BZD 1,000 is US$500. To stay longer than 30 days you apply for a visitor’s permit extension at an immigration office in Belize.
