Best Time to Visit Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda enjoy a tropical maritime climate with warm temperatures year-round. The best time depends on your preferences:
- Peak Season (December to April): The driest and most pleasant period with temperatures between 24-30C. Expect higher hotel rates and more tourists. Carnival celebrations in July/August are a major draw.
- Shoulder Season (May to June, November): Good weather with fewer crowds and lower prices. May and June still offer excellent beach conditions with occasional brief showers.
- Low Season (July to October): Higher chance of rain and the Atlantic hurricane season (peak August-September). However, hotel rates drop significantly. Many restaurants and activities remain available.
