Armenia visa requirements for Indians: overview
Indian passport holders need a visa for Armenia. The Embassy of Armenia recommends the e-visa at evisa.mfa.am, processed in three working days. A visa on arrival is available only to Indians holding a valid visa or residence permit from the EU, Schengen area, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Gulf states and some others.
When you do not need a visa
You can enter without a visa if you hold one of the following:
- A residence permit from the USA, an EU or Schengen country or a Gulf state, valid for at least six months from entry: visa-free from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, for up to 180 days in a year

How to apply
- Apply at evisa.mfa.am with a passport valid for your whole stay.
- Upload travel insurance and either a valid visa or residence permit from one of the listed countries, or a round-trip ticket, an invitation and proof of funds.
- Pay online and wait for the decision, normally three working days.
- Carry the e-visa and your insurance when you travel.
